How Chopt Began

Chopt was born in 2012 from a simple but powerful idea: that bold, fresh, handcrafted food should be the everyday standard — not a luxury. The First Chopt Opens

We opened our first chopt restaurant location at 730 7th St NW, Washington, DC — a compact kitchen with a big dream. Day one sold out by noon, and we knew we were onto something special.
